Swedes vote in election that could usher far right into government
- On Sunday, Swedes will vote in an extremely close general election that could allow the far-right Sweden Democrats to enter government for the first time if their coalition secures a majority.
- Polling around 19%, the Sweden Democrats have roots in the neo-Nazi fringe and have served as Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson's main parliamentary backers since 2022 to deliver his policy agenda.
