With the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency's (TİTCK) e-KT regulation, the era of digital package inserts for medicines is beginning. From January 1, 2027, with the exception of certain cases, an Electronic Instructions for Use via QR code will be mandatory for all medicines.
Printed leaflets will be removed from medicine boxes and replaced with electronic systems. This new era will be challenging for those who lack digital literacy or cannot use smartphones.
