A man from the capital ended up in prison for almost a month, even though he was not the perpetrator of a theft. The real suspect allegedly gave a name at random, and the police allegedly identified him based on it. After receiving judicial control, the suspect disappeared, and the arrest warrant was issued in the name of the innocent person, who had told the police that he had nothing to do with the crime.
A joyous man was detained, brought to trial and even arrested preventively after the police confused him with the author of a theft from a shop in Băneasa. The court later established that the man had not committed the act and acquitted him.
