Flight delays are always unpleasant, but on Sunday evening, one happened at Crete's Heraklion airport for a rather humorous reason. A griffon vulture had taken up residence on the plane and stubbornly refused to leave. Firefighters had to intervene. The plane eventually took off without the stowaway, whose feathers were a mix of brown and gray-white.
