Prague firefighters are responding to a fire in an apartment block on Kotorska Street in Nusle. Thick smoke is billowing from the apartment on the middle floor of the eleven-story building. Firefighters spokesman Vojtěch Rotschedl reported.
A fire broke out in a panel house in Prague's Nusle district on Sunday evening. The fire hit an apartment on the seventh floor and spread to the floor above. Firefighters evacuated several people and rescued one person from the burning apartment. They managed to localize the fire after 6:30 p.m.

A fire broke out in a panel house in Nusle in Prague on Sunday evening, and one person was slightly injured. This was told to ČTK by the spokesperson for the Prague firefighters, Vojtěch Rotschedl, and the spokesperson for the Prague Emergency Medical Service, Karel Kirs. After 6:30 p.m., the firefighters announced that they had localized the fire, i.e. stopped its spread.
Sunday evening transformed the housing estate on Prague's Kotorska Street into the scene of a dramatic struggle against time and extensive flames. A devastating fire broke out in an apartment on the 6th floor of a panel building, which immediately caused a second level of fire alarm to be declared. The integrated rescue system is responding to the scene.
