Innocent Victim, 85, Killed Inside His Burnaby Home by Stray Bullet: Police

- Burnaby RCMP responded to reports of shots fired near 18th Avenue and Humphries Avenue on Aug. 30 shortly after 1:30 a.m., where a suspect vehicle fled before officers arrived. Hours later, Cho was discovered deceased in a nearby Kingsway apartment complex.
- Homicide investigators have identified a group of youth believed to be involved in or have knowledge of the shooting. Sgt. Freda Fong urged them and their parents to come forward, stating, "The Cho family deserves answers."
