60,000 Euros for the Social Intervention Programme in San José

The Council of Extremadura has granted the City of Almendralejo a grant of 60,000 euros to continue the social intervention program in the neighborhood of San José, as it was announced during the last municipal plenary session. The aid will allow to face the full-time hiring of a social worker, a social educator and an intercultural mediator, thus reinforcing the direct work with the families and neighbors of this area of the city.
