Zverev Sets up Djokovic Quarter-Final at China Open

Alexander Zverev defeated home wildcard Shang Juncheng 6-0, 6-3 at the China Open on Saturday, advancing to a quarter-final clash with Novak Djokovic in Beijing in just 55 minutes.
Zverev now faces Novak Djokovic, who has never lost a match in Beijing, as the world's second-ranked player pursues the No. 1 spot held by Jannik Sinner, who withdrew from next week's Shanghai Masters.
Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen advanced after Anna Kalinskaya retired with injury, while Coco Gauff survived a tough second-round match against Camila Osorio, winning 7-6, 4-6, 6-2 despite shaky serving.
World No. 1 Elena Rybakina fell to 118th-ranked Alina Charaeva in the second round, committing seven double-faults during the 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 loss in a clinical upset.
Charaeva next faces Briton Sonay Kartal in the third round, while third seed Daniil Medvedev advanced to the quarter-finals by defeating Jan-Lennard Struff 6-4, 6-3.
