YouTube Sensation Ms. Rachel Announces Debut Album with Mr. Aron, 'I'm So Happy'
The 23-track set reimagines fan favorites and childhood classics with 19 vocalists and 42 instrumentalists, Aron Accurso said.
On Sept. 25, YouTube sensation Rachel Griffin Accurso and her husband, Aron Accurso, will release their 23-track debut album "I'm So Happy." The couple aims to help families bond through music away from the screen.
Aron Accurso co-produced the album with Grammy winner Scott Riesett, reimagining childhood classics with 19 vocalists and 42 instrumentalists. "We decided to expand them and elevate them with new arrangements," Aron explained.
Songs like "Old McDonald" offer scripts for social skills, prioritizing inclusivity for all children. Rachel also emphasized real instrumentation, such as the clarinet on "Icky Sticky Bubble Gum."
Living room dance parties are what the couple most hopes the album will inspire, because "that's what we love with our children," Aron said. Music serves as a vital tool for parent-child bonding.
Advocacy remains a priority for Rachel, who recently spoke out on the death of 18-year-old Nolan Wells in Mississippi. She noted the album may bring further attention to her children's rights advocacy work.
