Yin chips in for birdie on 18 to take the 3rd-round lead at TPC Boston
Yin birdied the 16th and 18th to reach 12-under 204, giving her a one-stroke edge over Sei Young Kim and Hyo Joo Kim.
On Saturday, Chinese star Ruoning Yin took a one-stroke lead at the FM Championship, reaching 12-under 204 at TPC Boston heading into Sunday's final round.
Yin shot a 4-under 68, holing a 20-foot putt for birdie on the par-3 16th and chipping in from just off the 18th green to secure the lead.
South Korean players Sei Young Kim and Hyo Joo Kim trail by one stroke. Hyo Joo Kim said, "I just want to make sure I'm doing a good job tomorrow."
Somi Lee and Jenny Bae are tied for fourth at 8-under, while Japanese player Miyu Yamashita dropped six strokes back with a 75.
Top-Ranked Nelly Korda remains tied for 49th after three straight 72s, while European captain Anna Nordqvist played her final LPGA Tour event with a 73.
