The Yemeni army shelled positions and assemblies of Houthis elements in and around the town of Khaja, hours after the Huthis had completed control of Bab al-Mandab and areas on the west coast of Yemen.
On Friday, Yemeni forces announced that their air force had started shelling the Al-Houthi militia positions in and around the city of Khaja, calling on civilians to avoid using a number of roads until further notice, as part of operations to restore State institutions and end the control of that militia.
