More than 270 members of government forces and Houthi fighters have been killed in the past 24 hours on various fronts in Yemen, sources from both sides told AFP today. Violent clashes continue in Yemen between government forces backed by Saudi Arabia, which has announced it is providing air support to the government's offensive against the Iran-backed Houthis, aiming to regain control of territory seized by them last month.
