Yeboah Scores 2 Goals as Minnesota Beats Crew 3-2
Kelvin Yeboah scored twice and Anthony Markanich added the winner as Minnesota United ended a 10-year MLS drought in multi-goal comebacks.
On Saturday, Minnesota United rallied to defeat the Columbus Crew 3-2 at Scotts Miracle-Gro Field, marking the first multi-goal comeback victory in the Loons' 10-year MLS history.
Columbus established a 2-0 lead by the 56th minute through goals from midfielder Taha Habroune and midfielder Hugo Picard, controlling possession early before Minnesota's second-half adjustments.
Striker Kelvin Yeboah sparked the rally with two goals within seven minutes, then defender Anthony Markanich headed in the decisive winner during the 74th minute off a set piece.
Head coach Cameron Knowles praised the team's resilience postgame, noting that "to come back from two goals down is not something that has happened a lot for us."
The victory provides crucial momentum for Minnesota after losing its previous two matches, while the result snaps a two-game winning streak for the Crew.
