The Chinese Xinhua news agency reported on the talks between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo, which was cited by AFP, TASR reports. According to these sources, Xi appealed to Middle Eastern countries to decide on their own intra-regional issues and to resist external interference in the region.
