Worthington ISD 518 chooses soy-based turf for softball field

WORTHINGTON — The ISD 518 Board of Education awarded a bid to Tea, South Dakota-based LT Companies, Inc., doing business as Parkway Construction, to construct the softball complex at Centennial Park this summer. The winning bidder presented the lowest of five bids for the project, at $1,020,600 as a base bid, with additional estimates for varying types of turf.
