Olympic, world, and European champion Mete Gazoz stated that he aims to win medals in both individual and team events at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The national archer also said that he wants to secure his Olympic quota by becoming champion at the 2027 World Championships.

National archer Mete Gazoz made statements at the National Archery Team training camp. Emphasizing that his biggest goal is the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, Gazoz said, "I am very ready for the Olympics. The 2028 Olympics will be better than Tokyo and Paris. I won an individual medal in Tokyo. We won a team medal in Paris. In Los Angeles, I want to win two medals."
