Woman Allegedly Chased, Harassed, Pushed Off Scooter by Bike-Borne Men Near Panchsheel Park Metro Station in Delhi

- On the night of September 11, Gauri Kashyap, 21, alleged two men on a motorcycle chased, harassed, and pushed her off her scooter near Panchsheel Metro Station, causing her to skid 150 metres on a road covered with stones and dust.
- Following the incident, Kashyap was initially taken to Max Hospital in Saket, where she received treatment before shifting to Medanta Hospital in Noida for further care, with doctors advising plastic surgery due to extensive skin injuries.
- Police registered an FIR following a 1 a.m. PCR call on September 12, though Deputy Commissioner of Police Anant Mittal noted investigators have yet to trace the alleged occurrence in available CCTV footage.
- Mittal stated, "We are aware of the matter and an FIR has been registered under appropriate sections of law," adding that Kashyap remains in her hometown recovering but will join the investigation soon.
- This incident follows a recent episode on Gurugram's Golf Course Road where a woman biker was chased and hit by a car, a sequence captured on camera that subsequently went viral.
