Despite the fact that the Administrative Court had ruled that a woman in Sigtuna had the right to personal assistance, she was repeatedly denied by the municipality. This meant that the woman had to wait just over four years for her case to be finally heard, something that is now receiving serious criticism from the Swedish Ombudsman. “If it is the case that you do not follow what a court has said, then we have a problem,” says JO Thomas Norling.
