Woman feared for her life in weeks before fatal Queensland house fire

A coronial inquest has heard a fatal house fire in North Queensland was likely deliberately lit by a man who would have been charged with the murder of his partner had he survived.

Woman declared deceased following house fire in Kelliher

KELLIHER - An investigation is underway following a fatal house fire in Kelliher.  On June 28, Melville RCMP received a report of a fire at a residence in Kelliher. Officers responded to the fire along with local fire and EMS. An adult female was declared deceased by EMS at the scene.
