POLICE revealed that a 71-year-old woman caused the big fire near Kupres, which spread to three municipalities. She lit a fire in the yard and left it unattended. A criminal report follows.
Around 150 people participated in the superhuman three-day battle with the fire: members of the Kupres Fire Department, employees of the Kupres Forestry Department and the Croatian Forestry Administration, police, local residents and numerous volunteers.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzeg-Bosnia Canton announced that during police interrogation, the suspect admitted that she had lit a fire in her yard, which she then briefly left unattended.
