Wizz Air, the largest local airport operator, announced the return to Târgu-Mureş Transsilvania Airport, the start of a base airport and the launch of a new route from 2026, according to a press release from the Judezian Mureş Council.
Wizz Air announced the reopening of operations at Tjrgu Mureș Airport, stating that once a modern A320neo aircraft is allocated, the company will operate a total of 39 aircraft in Romania this summer.
