HONG KONG // COMMENTARY - The recent convictions of three democracy activists are yet another sign that freedoms in Hong Kong are under pressure, writes Jan Larsen. The world's democracies should hold China to the 1984 agreement with Britain and demand the release of those convicted. The communist regime is unlikely to be swayed by protests, but "those imprisoned must know that they are not forgotten."
