A wildfire burning above Minnehaha Canyon has prompted closures as crews work to contain the blaze.

A small wildland fire broke out on in the Shuswap Tuesday afternoon. Firefighters from Shuswap, Eagle Bay, and White Lake fire departments responded to a fire on Eagle Bay Road late afternoon, Aug. 11, the Shuswap Emergency Program reported on social media.
