WIIKWEMKOONG, ON — At 12:01 a.m. officers responded to a report of a male being shot in the village of Wiikwemkoong.Officers located the individual who sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported by ORNGE to Health Sciences North (HSN) in Sudbury for medical treatment.A 32-year-old male from Wiikwemkoong was arrested at the scene and charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:
