39-Year-Old Man Kills Wife, 4 Children in Gurugram, Then Attempts Suicide
Police said Mohammad Nazim allegedly poisoned and strangled his wife and four children before trying to die by suicide, with domestic disputes under investigation.
On Saturday night in Gurugram, Mohammad Nazim allegedly murdered his wife, Nazma, and their four children inside their Wazirpur village home before attempting to take his own life.
Investigators are exploring domestic disputes as the primary motive for the killings, with preliminary findings suggesting an altercation occurred on Saturday leading to the crime.
Authorities found the victims—Nazma and children Iqra , Shifa , Aaram , and Khatija —on mattresses in a first-floor room with froth emerging from their mouths.
Nazim survived the incident and is receiving treatment at a local government hospital, where he remains in custody for questioning following his discharge, Assistant Commissioner of Police Naveen Sharma stated.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination as authorities continue investigating whether the victims were poisoned or strangled in the Wazirpur incident.
