Polymarket Taps Finance Veteran Warren Jenson as CFO
Jenson brings more than three decades of finance experience as Polymarket seeks to reverse a market-share decline and scale operations.
On Thursday, Polymarket named veteran finance executive Warren Jenson as Chief Financial Officer, with CEO Shayne Coplan stating, "His experience will be critical to everything we build from here."
The appointment follows Polymarket's effort to regain market share lost to rival Kalshi, whose August trading volumes of $40 billion nearly quintupled Polymarket's according to Piper Sandler data.
Jenson, 69, brings over three decades of finance experience, having served as chief financial officer at Amazon, Electronic Arts, Delta Air Lines, and NBC.
Reporting to Coplan, Jenson will lead financial strategy and long-term planning as Polymarket adds senior leaders, including former Uber executive Travis VanderZanden as chief growth officer this year.
The platform has surpassed $1 billion in annualized revenue and partnered with NBA star LeBron James to promote its services as prediction markets expand globally.
