The last person to hunt a whale in Spanish waters was a Galician harpooner named Miguel López. It occurred on October 21, 1985, just two months before the global moratorium banning commercial whaling came into effect. In More than One we were able to talk to Lidia, one of the workers at the Caneliñas whale boat located in Cee (A Coruña), the factory where that animal ended up.
