At 39 years of age, French striker Olivier Giroud allowed his family to score the first on the lawn of Angers on Sunday on the first day of Ligue 1.
Giroud opened the scoring for Lille in the 11th minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty box. Santos doubled Lille's lead in the 31st minute after pouncing on a loose ball. Verdonk helped Lille maintain their 2-0 lead until the end.
