Judge Alton Brooks Parker (May 14, 1852 – May 10, 1926) Born in Cortland, NY, he later lived in Esopus on the west bank of the Hudson River. He practiced law in Kingston before being appointed to the New York Supreme Court and elected to the New York Court of Appeals.
