Wetaskiwin RCMP was dispatched to a report of a collision between a southbound train and a pedestrian on Aug. 19 at about 4 a.m., After conducting an extensive search of the area with the assistance of CPKC Police, the body of a deceased man was located south of the Wetaskiwin city limits, according to an RCMP release. “The deceased was identified as an 18-year-old male resident of Maskwacis First Nation.
