WestJet flight attendants vote to ratify new collective agreement
WestJet flight attendants voted 90.2 per cent in favour to ratify a new collective agreement with the airline.
The Canadian Union of Public Employees announced the agreement includes over an 18 per cent wage increase over three years and compensation for ground work.
The contract provides a 13 per cent wage increase in October, 2.75 per cent in January, and 2.5 per cent at the start of 2028.
The three-year agreement will be effective from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028.
