- On Thursday, the Cyprus health ministry reported six confirmed West Nile virus infections with two suspected cases under investigation, stating, "We are not on alert but continue to monitor the situation closely."
- The EODY has designated additional municipalities as "high risk" based on epidemiological data, even where no human cases occurred, warning that the virus's geographical spread cannot be predicted with certainty.
