A direct route to raise concerns over the health of mothers and babies is being rolled out across the NHS, Wales' first-ever minister dedicated to women's health has said.
A new scheme is being rolled out in hospitals across Wales to allow patients and families to request further clinical review if they are concerned that someone's health is deteriorating. The Call for Concern scheme is similar to Martha's Rule in England and Ryan's Rule in Australia, and will be rolled out across adult, paediatric, maternity and neonatal wards in Wales.
