Welfare check leads to arrest of alleged would-be suicide bomber in Bent County - Bent County Democrat

Newly released records revealed the details of an incident back on Jan. 11, when a man, Grant Dean Dorman, 40, of Las Animas, allegedly threatened suicide through explosives rigged throughout his home and backyard, threatening to take himself and anyone else inside into the afterlife, prompting a joint effort from the Bent County Sheriff’s Office and the Pueblo Bomb Squad.
