- The bench cited the Karnataka High Court's decision upholding hijab restrictions as persuasive authority, holding that schools retain domain over dress codes since the Supreme Court has not yet settled the issue.
- Requiring a uniform promotes a religion-neutral atmosphere, the court stated, as it applies to students of different faiths without singling out any individual, reinforcing institutional identity within the classroom.
