Knife Found Lodged in Waymo Seat
Waymo says it is reviewing prior riders after four women found a six-inch knife in the back seat during their first robotaxi ride.

- Waymo stated that weapons are prohibited in its vehicles and confirmed its response teams contacted the women to ensure they were not injured. The company is reviewing footage to identify the previous rider responsible.
- The experience changed how the group approaches rideshare services. "I don't think any of us will ever get in a Waymo or an Uber or Lyft or taxi or anything without checking," Maddie said.
