Spending time with his friends on Arnavutköy Karaburun Beach, Nurettin Çırak (58) was dragged into the sea by a wave while sitting on the shore. Brought to shore unconscious with the help of those around him, Çırak could not be saved despite all the interventions made at the hospital. It was learned that the lifeguards' duty hours had ended at the time of the incident, and the Coast Guard teams started an investigation.
