Water main to be shut down on Walnut and Law streets for repairs

Press Release Due to unforeseen circumstances, the City of Batavia Water Department will be shutting down the water main on Walnut Street south of the railroad as well as all of Law Street for emergency repairs.The length of time the water will be off is unknown. As always, when the water is restored it may be discolored.  Please refrain from doing any laundry until the water runs clear. We apologize for any inconvenience. BATAVIA — The City of Batavia Water Department is shutting down the water main on Walnut Street south of the railroad crossing, along with all of Law Street, for emergency repairs.
