- After more than a decade with Golden State, Chris DeMarco rose from a video intern to one of Steve Kerr's lead assistants and helped the franchise win four NBA championships, a foundation shaped also by coaching the Bahamas men's national team.
- During the hiring process, DeMarco consulted Natalie Nakase, Nick U’Ren and Nate Tibbetts, Liberty players attended his press conference, and he ran a clinic for 60 girls from Uncommon Excellence Girls Charter.
