Walkers Discontinues 'the Best' Crisps Range for Second Time in 4 Years
Walkers said Crinkles will leave shelves again after the crisp range returned in 2024 and was first phased out in 2022.
Walkers has confirmed discontinuation of its Crinkles crisp range for the second time in four years, ending production again after the snack returned to UK stores in 2024 following a 2022 phase-out.
"Evolving our portfolio allows us to focus on making more of the flavours people love the most," a spokesperson told The Sun, explaining the company's strategic rationale for removing the product.
One person reviewing a Simply Salted multipack on Amazon said: "This was one of my favourite Walker's Crisp products," while another eBay fan praised the snack as "my favourite crisps."
Customers can transition to Walkers MAX and Walkers Baked flavours including Slow Roasted Beef and Sun Dried Tomato & Basil, alongside established snacks like Wotsits, Quavers, and Monster Munch.
Walkers has discontinued several items over recent years as part of a broader strategy to streamline its portfolio while maintaining core ranges that drive market presence.
