VPP skips all-party meeting on reservation report
Shillong, May 6: The VPP which fought for the review of reservation police failed to attend the all-party meeting to discuss the state reservation policy. In a letter addressed to the deputy secretary, personnel department on May 5, the party president Ardent Basaiawmoit said that the timing is not conducive to attend the meeting and added that the party is presently engaged in pressing issues concerning the state.
