Voter turnout hovers above 10% for May 5 county primary election

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Voter turnout hovered just above 10% in the May 5th County Primary Election, according to the Hamilton County Election Commission. They say 22,480 total ballots were cast from 216,060 total registered Hamilton County voters across six Early Voting sites, absentee, and on Election Day, which marks a 10.4% voter turnout.
