Virginia gun manufacturer to leave state, citing new laws

Rideout Arsenal, a firearms designer and manufacturer in Spotsylvania County, said it is moving its business out of Virginia, citing the state’s new gun laws.

More Gunmakers Relocate to GOP States

Firearms manufacturers Ruger and Rideout Arsenal are heading south, continuing a trend of firearms companies leaving Democrat-run states. On June 10, Virginia-based Rideout Arsenal, a firearms designer and manufacturer, announced it would invest $22 million to build a new manufacturing facility in Thomasville, Georgia.
