Virgin Flights Forced to Refuel Halfway to Fiji After Fuel Contamination
Airlines are tankering fuel and switching to larger aircraft as a contaminated batch leaves supply at Nadi International Airport unreliable, officials and pilots said.
In what one pilot described to the ABC as a "very rare" situation, airlines are being asked to fuel up at alternative airports and bring in stockpiles of fuel to Fiji's international airport.
