Vinnie Jones blasts 'addictive' tech for fuelling mental health struggles
Jones says 20% of draw profits will go to mental health charities as he urges young people to spend more time outdoors.
Hollywood A-lister Vinnie Jones is partnering with prize draw platform Ventus to support mental health charities while criticizing 'addictive' technology for fueling children's mental health struggles.
Growing up near Watford, Vinnie enjoyed an active outdoor lifestyle with football that provided release; he believes modern children lack this as they remain glued to screens.
Ventus is offering a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Croatia with £10,000 spending money; entry costs as little as £15, with 20 per cent of profits donated to mental health charities.
Supporting young people is important, Vinnie said, emphasizing that older generations have a responsibility to encourage children to reconnect with nature and address mental health struggles.
Chris Wall, founder of Ventus, added that the partnership aims to create 'unforgettable memories' for participants while each paid entry contributes to charitable causes generating real-world impact.
