Versant Power will be replacing electric line on Bangor street

Versant Power will be upgrading the electric system on Bangor’s West Side. Crews on Friday will be running a new wire along the line around Easton Place and Fifth Street, according to a Versant Power spokesperson. That work will begin around 8:30 a.m. It’s expected to take about two hours and may interrupt service to those living in the area. Versant said that the work will improve reliability and reduce outages.
