- Arctic Frost, launched in 2022, later joined Special Counsel Jack Smith's work as prosecutors issued subpoenas to telecommunications providers for phone metadata during the 2020-election probe.
- Hagerty says Verizon produced customer proprietary network information without challenging the subpoena, including call logs and other metadata, and demands an apology, discipline, disclosure, and policy changes from Verizon leadership.
- He asked the FCC to investigate whether Verizon violated federal privacy law and agency regulations, and Hagerty said the actions raised privacy concerns for customers and lawmakers.
