It has been 31 years since the murder of Serbian civilians in Varivode and Gošić, in Croatia, and even after more than three decades, there are no accused or convicted of that crime, as well as for many other murders of Serbian civilians in neighboring villages after the Croatian military operation "Storm", the Documentation and Information Center "Veritas" announced.
According to official data, the number of inhabitants in Varivode decreased from pre-war 477 to 61, according to the 2021 census, while there are no more inhabitants under the age of 25 in the village.
