The Venice Carnival begins today and continues on Sunday, February 1, and this year's theme "Olympus - the Origin of the Games" is dedicated to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The famous Venice Carnival, which this year will be marked by the Olympic Games, begins this afternoon with a grand dance in St. Mark's Square. According to organizers, more than a thousand concerts, plays, historical processions and artistic performances will take place until February 17 under the motto Olympus - at the source of the games.
