Vehicle crash cuts power to 44 users at the east end of Sicamous

A vehicle collision has cut power to about 44 users in Sicamous Thursday morning, June 18. According to the BC Hydro website, the power has been off since 7:08 a.m. due to a “motor vehicle accident.” The outage is affecting users on the east end of town in the area of Rauma Crescent and Seed Frontage Road north of Highway 1. Crews are currently on-site, with power expected to be restored by 11 a.m.
